Kreeftwerk was first brewed way back in the day with beer historian/homebrewer Benedikt Koch aka. Wilder Wald. This Lichtenhainer is a slightly sour and smokey historical German beer style.We used beach and oak smoked malts and fermented it with Mud King, a wild yeast and bacteria blend for funky and sour flavours. We finished the beer off by adding fresh peaches. It is dry, fruity beer with subtle peach and smoke flavours along with subtle sour and funky flavours.
