BREWPUB MANAGER – m/f/x – 32hrs


– are a hospitable, inclusive and enthusiastic person making everybody feel welcome and safe in our home.

– have a love and knowledge of (but not limited to) beer and are eager to introduce our guests to new flavours, whether it be beer, food, music or anything really.

– are a team player who knows how to delegate and motivate a small dedicated team and have a good sense of lingering talents and potential.

– have in and out of the box ideas about potential events that promote our pub and brand and are excited to make them happen.

– have a DIY attitude towards stuff that needs to happen or fixed and don’t shy away from putting in a little extra effort when needed. 

– don’t mind working weekends at all.

– have an interest and some experience in the business side of running a pub and are not scared to open an excel sheet or two, think about margins and other number stuff.

You will:

– keep track of the business side of the pub and report this in a weekly meeting with management.

– (co)curate and maintain our beer, food and other menus.

– manage and maintain a close knit and enthusiastic team of bar staff.

– work bar shifts to maintain contact with team and guests.

– be the main contact for all internal and external communications about the pub

– host tastings

– communicate frequently with our sales & marketing manager to promote our pub, events, beers and brand.

– be in contact with the brewery to learn about our beers and brewing processes and pass this knowledge on to the pub team.

– Manage tasks related to events, maintenance, rostering, bookings, purchasing, tours etc.

Requirements etc.

– 2y+ Experience in horeca preferably with (assistant)management experience

– Knowledge of the Dutch language is a pre, but not required.

– Knowledge of beer styles, handling and tap systems is a pre

– Social Hygiene/HACCP/BHV certificates are a pre
